Tangix HelpDeskPRO 1.4.45 Released

Tangix today release version 1.4.45 of Tangix HelpDeskPRO introducing several new features and many bug fixes.

New functions:

• Staff members can now have “avatar” images added to their staff account. Upload image on “My Preferences” page. The uploaded image will be scaled to 70x70 pixels and supported image formats are GIF, JPG and PNG
• New tooltips in the list of requests replacing the old yellow boxex
• The staff member owning a request is now displayed in a tooltip together with the online status when hovering over the staff initial:
  
• Possible to limit end-user access to the User Pages to only allow access if the user’s company has at least one non-expired license. This setting is available on the Admin pages (Settings -> General). This setting is off by default. Enabling this setting will deny users that are not added to company.
  
• Added a new graph to the system displaying the net number of requests opened (+) or closed (-) during the last three weeks. Bars above zero indicates that more requests were closed than opened that day.
  

Fixes and changes:

• License Report no contains all months and not only months that have expiring licenses.
• Improved handling of timezones for users using the native functions provided in PHP 5.2. The timezone setting on “My Preferences” page is improved with additional timezones added. The result is better handling of Daylight Savings Time   
• Improved parsing of HTML-information in incoming emails
• Changed the display of the SLA-icons in the list of companies
• Mails were not sent to staff members when a request was moved to INACTIVE
• The Dojo library was updated to version 1.4.1 improving browser support
