Tangix HelpDeskPRO 1.4.30 Released

Tangix is releasing version 1.4.30 of Tangix HelpDeskPRO.

New feature: Company Files
With this release it is now possible to use Tangix HelpDeskPRO as a secure repository for files related to customer companies. Each company can have an unlimited amount (up to the free disk-space) of files attached to the company. These files are managed from the admin-pages when editing a company and can have an optional description:

Accessing the company files can be done in multiple ways;
From the staff interface when adding or responding to a request. Clicking the link underneath the standard attach file button brings up a window where the files belonging to that company are displayed. Simply check the file(s) to send and click Done:

As a user with that company. Simply go to the user pages, click COMPANY FILES and they are ready for download:

Enhancements and other fixes
Various fixes and enhancements have been added in this release;

• problems with the URL in the Staff Assignment Change email
• layout problems in the statistics
• changed the report for companies utilizing support to be able to list companies not utilizing support or all companies (previously only companies actually utilizing the support were listed)
• upgrade to a modern outbound email library to improve the compatibility with SMTP-servers
• admin emails could sometimes bounce
• improved the tooltip displayed to get rid of “Error on Page” messages in Internet Explorer when viewing requests
