Tangix HelpDeskPRO 1.4.28 Released

Tangix HelpDeskPRO 1.4.28 has finally been released! There are major changes in this version and it is important that you perform the upgrade when the usage of the system is as low as possible. The changes to the database will take up to one minute when first launch the new version!

MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A COPY OF THE DATABASE BEFORE STARTING THE UPGRADE!

Please read the notes for version 1.4.23 through 1.4.27 to get all the news on the new functionality. Version 1.4.28 includes the following changes:

New Request Status: WAITING THIRD PART
A new status for the requests has been added to indicate that the request is waiting for a third part. For staff members this means that the request will be listed on a new page containing WAITING REQUESTS (available from the top of the staff page). The number of requests WAITING will be indicated at the top of the page and also in bold indicating the number of WAITING requests you own. Setting the pending status is done when adding a response to a request.

Optionally an ID can be entered to refer to a case number at the Third Part.
For the user, requests in status WAITING will be shown under the OPEN heading but with the status WAITING.

Fixed defects
There were problems exporting accented characters to the Excel file from certain reports.
Various layout problems corrected.
A sum was missing from the License Report per Company
