Tangix HelpDeskPRO 1.4.22 Released

This is a roll-up of version 1.4.21 that was only released to customers of the hosted HelpDeskPRO.

New features:

Compatibility with MSIE 8
The pages are forcing the browser to use the MSIE 7 renderer mode, Compatibility View

Changed functionality of the Invoice Date field
This field is now more flexible and the name of the field can be changed by administrators

Business Units for companies
Functions to handle Business Units have been added in the system. The Business Units are configured from the SETTINGS page.

Each Business Unit is identified with a name and a description. When enabled, it is possible to assign a business unit to each company when editing company information.
Business Unit will be further developed in future versions of Tangix HelpDeskPRO and it will be possible to run reports based on Business Unit selections for example.

Custom Fields now remember last values
The custom fields now defaults to the last values for that customer when adding a new request. To make it possible to value the information shown, there is an icon showing the date in the tool-tip when the information was stored:
