Tangix is today releasing a new version of Tangix TesterPRO Client software for use with the VirtualTester system. The two major new features are;

• Exams may now be resumed
• The exam window is now possible to resize into portrait mode to fit better on the screen, especially wide-screen monitors

Resumable Exams
In case if computer problems, power-outages or software crashes, the Tangix TesterPRO Client software is now able to resume the exam from where you left, remembering your answers. The exam needs to be restarted on the same computer using the same user account.

The resume function will not give more time for the exam! For example; a three hour exam is started at 1:00 PM (and should thus be done by 4:00 PM). Let’s say there is a 20 minuter power-outage at 2:00 PM shutting down the computer. At 2:30 PM, the computer is up and running again and the exam software is restarted. The exam information will be downloaded again and the exam is resumed and scheduled to be done by 4:00 PM when the results are uploaded. If the outage would have lasted longer, say until 5:00 PM, the exam software would only allow upload of the already answered questions when restarted - no extra time is granted!

Exam window improvements
When resizing the exam window, the layout of the window will now adjust accordingly. When the window is taller than wider, the window will adjust the layout to be in portrait mode, fitting perfectly on one side of the monitor.
