Company Locations now have optional Country setting

In VirtualTester 6.0.3 we have addressing a problem that has been around since the Company Directory was introduced - what if a company is active on markets in multiple countries?

In previous versions, VirtualTester only contained a country setting for the company itself and this country was used to list the company in the Directory. To have a company displayed in multiple countries, a copy of the company had to be created with another country specified.

Let us look at the fictional Cad Inc. CANADA company that is a Canadian company with three locations in Canada:

What if Cad Inc. CANADA decides to open operation in Karlstad, Minnesota (just 30 mi south of the Winnipeg location, but in the US)? In VirtualTester 6.0.3, simply add a new location and set the country to United States! The default for the country is the country of the company.

Let’s go ahead and add this location to Cad Inc. CANADA.

The list of company locations now contains the new location in Karlstad that is indicated with the flag of United States in the city name to indicate that this location is in the US. This is also indicated in the list of companies where locations in other countries are indicated with country flags for these countries:

When accessing the Company Directory, CAD Inc. CANADA will now show up in both Canada and the United States and is now listed correctly with the company awards. WHen looking for a company in Canada and Manitoba state:

And also when looking for a company in Minnesota, US Cad Inc. CANADA is displayed correctly:
